Your checklist to being Worker Protection Act compliant

Under the Worker Protection Act (effective from October 2024), all UK Employers have a legal duty to take ‘reasonable steps’ to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace.

This is called preventative duty, if employers do not comply, they are breaking the law.

Our 8 step checklist draws on Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) recommendations and gives key actions for you to implement to embed a zero-tolerance culture in your organisation against sexual harassment.

Find time to access where you are currently, and identify any areas for improvement.

Client Testimonials

“WorkInConfidence has provided platforms which has enabled staff to speak up and speak out, while we now have the opportunity to listen and engage with purpose. In the first six months we had more interactions on the platform that we had in the first two years of the previous system.”
Gareth Evans, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board
“Raising concerns anonymously has helped more people feel confident in coming forward, that they are being listened to, and that something will happen. It's been a great way to introduce speaking up and helping the Trust improve their preventative initiatives. Trying to help people to do the right thing, to report it, and how to report it is so important.”
Liz Bessant, Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust
“Simply providing an anonymous platform encouraged feedback allowing leadership to understand our people's daily challenges, and best of all, we could track, address and respond to them. Allowing everyone to have a voice has helped establish ourselves as an outstanding firm to work with.”
Erin Green, travers Smith LLP
